Holiday Information

A real Andean experience! As we walk along ancient Inca trails in the beautiful Sacred Valley exploring historic cities and vibrant markets, Peru's cultural legacy and the skills and crafts of local communities are brought to life with visits to fair trade producers.
In Lima we learn more about fair trade enthusiasts Manos Amigas and Allpa. As well as visiting their offices, we make a visit to one of Allpa's workshops to meet some of their silversmiths and learn about their work. From the capital, we travel up into the Andes and along the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the famous wonder of the world, Machu Picchu. We visit coffee farmers in the cloud forest who supply Cafédirect and ceramic potters in the towns and villages around Cusco.
Taking in impressive ruins and views often missed by those in a hurry to get to Machu Picchu, we’ll experience first-hand what makes Peru so magical. The combination of downhill walks, artisan markets, stunning views and time to explore the fascinating history and culture of the Incas, make this an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
