Holiday Information

The Kingdom of Eswatini may be the smallest country in the southern hemisphere but what it lacks in size it certainly makes up for in experiences!
Formerly known as Swaziland, the country was renamed Eswatini in 2018 to mark the 50th anniversary year of the country's independence. This tiny nation stands as sub-Saharan Africa's last remaining absolute monarchy, ruled over by King Mswati III.
Our Meet The People journey takes us to the iconic Swazi Candles, Ngwenya Glass and the growers of Black Mamba's famous chillis, but we also discover some of Eswatini’s newest fair trade groups, where young entrepreneurs with enthusiasm and determination receive support and training enabling them to thrive.
As we cross over the border from South Africa we are greeted with the stunning backdrop of mountains of the highveld where we will spend our first few days exploring our first tastes of Swazi cuisine and hospitality. Over the coming days we progress down through the mid and lowveld, to the territory of rhino and giraffe.
Throughout the tour we are greeted with welcoming smiles as we explore Swazi culture and enjoy a privileged insight into a thriving network of fair trade producers.
We hope that you will join us as we explore Eswatini, the 'Land of the Swazis'.
