Holiday Information

It's not for nothing that Malawi is often called 'the warm heart of Africa'. This tour will take you off the beaten track to the lesser-visited northern part of the country where you will find stunning scenery, incredible wildlife and warm-hearted people.

From the exotic shores of Lake Malawi, watching fishermen in dug-out canoes against a backdrop of palm trees, to the undulating plateaux of the great highlands and the Nyika National Park, northern Malawi is unspoilt Africa at its very best.

You will meet coffee farmers in their homes and villages and see the real impacts of fair trade as well as enjoying the delights of this beautiful country.

Our partners in Malawi, Central African Wilderness Safaris are dedicated to offering holistic, low-impact safaris that nurture the environment, guests, staff and the community in equal measure. The company has a core philosophy that tourism's long-term growth and success in Africa is dependent on empowering local communities and assisting them to become the custodians of their own destiny and unique natural and cultural heritage.
