The Kingdom of Swaziland may be the smallest country in the southern hemisphere but what it lacks in size it certainly makes up for in experiences!
Our journey takes us to the iconic Swazi Candles, Ngwenya Glass and the much celebrated Chilli Grandmas at Black Mamba, but we also discover some of Swaziland’s newest fair trade groups, where young entrepreneurs with enthusiasm and determination receive support and training enabling them to thrive.
As we cross over the border from South Africa we are greeted with the stunning backdrop of mountains of the highveld where we will spend our first few days exploring our first tastes of Swazi cuisine and hospitality. Over the coming days we progress down through the mid and lowveld, to the territory of rhino and giraffe in the lowveld.
Throughout the tour we are greeted with welcoming smiles as we explore Swazi culture and enjoy a privileged insight into a thriving network of fair trade producers.
